Mumford and Sons - "Rushmere" - TAB

Tuning: Open D (D A D F# A D)

Key: Eb

Studio version: capo on 1

Live Fallon version: no capo

Verse: Play with a strict down-up strumming alternation. Palm mute the lowest three strings (D, A, D) and let the highest three strings (F#, A, D) ring out. Pay close attention to the accent pattern or the rhythm won’t feel right.

Chorus: Play fully open and louder. Strumming can either be alternating down-up strokes or all downstrokes while accenting quarter notes.

Bridge: Same approach as the chorus—completely open, strong strumming, with more dynamics.
